I have nine to go before mine. Or something like that. I'm freakin' out, man!

Well, three of them are mine. I'll be quick if I get to pick tonight. I've only made one pick in this draft so far. I'm sick of watching you guys take all the players I want.

It depends if I fall asleep again, though. Honestly, that was kind of fun negotiating with 2 guys who really wanted my pick -- now I see how the Twins feel.

Damn. That said, Juan Pierre is on the block if people are interested in trading, say, one of their three upcoming picks .

Was Encarnacion a better pick than Kouz? I'm surprised that two managers (Buckner and Lunatic) would have rather had Edwin "Don't stand in the On-Deck Circle, Bro" Encarnacion than Kevin "The Tijuana Kouz" Kouzmanoff. To me, Kouz is clearly the better player.

I keep hearing about "defensive coach needed" this and "platoon with Keppinger" that. He keeps showing me that he's not cut out for third and will progressively move down the defensive hierarchy in time. Probably to 1st for a team that's desperate (not the Reds, that's for sure).

I also read that Kouzmanoff is headed to the OF as Chase Headley is a better defensive 3B. Plus, in case this wasn't clear enough, the Padres NEED OUTFIELDERS. Haha.

I like Kouzmanoff a lot, and I'm not at all disappointed to have him instead of Encarnacion. I just have a feeling about Encarnacion. It's almost time for him to get paid.....

That would be sad as both would lose value in the short term. But that's even assuming Headley makes it onto the 25-man roster.

Maybin should be part of the MiLB draft. He's still a rookie. Right?

I know. I checked back not really expecting to be anywhere close to my pick. I wasn't realy ready to be up. Espescially since the guys I was planning on taking where taken in the 2 picks before mine.
