If you have a chance at winning it all this year and need to shore up your offense, starting pitching, or bullpen, I'm willing to trade productive, veteran bats and arms AND I can cover salary.
I'm looking for draft picks (both MLB and MiLB), proven prospects, and young MLBers with promise who just may not be contributing to your championship cause at the moment.
Available:
Robinson Cano (OPS over .900, currently 1st among all 2Bs in HRs and RBI, 2nd in runs)
Troy Tulowitzki (currently on DL, but once he gets it going in that Toronto launching pad, watch out)
Victor Martinez (quietly having a very good year, leads all DHs in HRs and RBI, 2nd in average)
Carlos Gomez (struggled to open the season but turns out it was due to injury, coming off the DL soon, want a 20/20 guy in the second half?)
Ryan Zimmerman (not setting the world on fire, but if you want a 1B/CI who doesn't completely suck, he'll give you 15+ HRs and decent RBI numbers the rest of the way)
Chris Carter (we all know he's never gonna win a batting title, but you can't deny the man is on pace for 40+ HRs and a solid RBI total)
Anyone else other than Stanton, Schoop, Sano, Pollock, and Hamilton.
Jon Lester (if I need to tell you all the reasons you want him for a championship run, you shouldn't be in this league)
Julio Teheran (having one of the best seasons of his young career for a bad team, playing under a great contract)
Any relief pitcher on my roster. I've got three guys averaging over 11 K/9.
The only pitchers I don't want to talk about, honestly, are Strasburg and Wheeler.
Did I mention I can cover salaries? Hit me up with an offer.
