Has anyone contacted or emailed Sleeve of Wizard? He hasn't logged in since the 15th of February so he probably doesn't even know this draft is going on. Is he even still going to be in this league?

I email everyone with the admin account, so if he checks that email he should know. I emailed him again. Tell him if you see him.

Yes he will be in the league. He works in TV/racing like me, and we've been busy as hell since Daytona. He's been gone on a shoot the past 2 days which is why he didn't pick.

I don't know why I even entertained the idea of Matusz or Hosmer making it to me. Pretty obvious they were best available. I'm just not gonna think about who I want until it's my pick.

The guy I wanted got picked, so I'll listen to offers for this pick. I think I have two hours left before my time is up.

I know that Flores is a decent pick but he is a long way away. And it was pretty dissapointing to not get Morrison. I'm over it now, mostly. I thought it was odd that he wouldn't have been kept which is why I searched it so many times. It's my fault for not going roster by roster before working the deal for the pick.

Howard what the hell are you doing?
I traded you Jennings and Schafer (and Anthony Swarzak) with Howie Kendrick to get Brandon Phillips! You didn't keep a single one?
Howie Kendrick for Brandon Phillips straight up...

T. Beckham, Smoak, Niemann, and Schafer is an impressive foursome. Junkies is certainly doing his homework. I'm impressed.

And now that I'm looking at it, Junkies has far and away the best list of prospects in this league. It's not even close.

Hahaha. I'm just saying it's exactly what his team needs. He and Sleeve of Wizard were left noticeably behind the pack since their owners either went dead or didn't have great teams from the get-go.

At least the Sleeve started with significant MLB talent- Mauer, Holliday, Bay, Verlander, Ichiro, Webb, Greinke, Danks...ect. You can make a dynasty team out of that. Junkies started with Jay Bruce and whole bunch of mid-tier SP. The talent level on these 2 teams inst even comparable. I do agree that Junkies is building something good though.

If I have empty roster spots because of draft pick trading, can I pick up free-agents to fill my roster? The holes are mostly from the MLB draft.

We have a seven- or ten-day period to resolve our rosters after the MiLB draft with no salary penalties, just as we did last year.

Kawakimi - SP with a rotation spot already save for him. Could be a good all around starter. With the drop-off in talent after the first round picks, I'd say that was a good pick that will contribute this year.
Same goes for Motte, hopefully the Cards don't sign Pedro to close.
Junkies picked some great players, but I don't see how Niemann comes close to stacking up to the other picks. Of course this is coming from the dumb-ass who kept him over Wade Davis last year. I just don't see him as anything better than a MR right now.

I can see that to an extent. You might be right though. I wouldn't say he stands out among those not in the first round of our draft, but Kawakami is a strong choice as he's an immediate impact player. Better than waiting two or three years for a potential flop, I suppose.

Thanks for the kudos...although I can't take credit as Perv left me some great MiLB prospects and 4 first round MiLB picks. I could moan all I want about my team, but it could be a lot worse. Although I am not sure what Perv had against 2nd round picks?
Kawakami is a great choice for immediate need, and I thought I saw that he was doing well this spring. As for Niemann, like all of these picks, it is like winning the lottery...you never know. As mentioned he will probably not end any more than a MR as he is not going to beat Price for the 5th spot. With all the SP talent the Rays have, my hope is that he would be released! And I will accept that MiLB championship title...it will go alongside my mantle with my future MLB Sandlot toilet bowl trophy. Be well gents!

Bobby you couldn't wait you had to skip my turn. You had 2 straight picks you had no worries for being skipped. My log-in times are pretty consistent , mid-mornings and late nights. I have some responsibilities called work.

Not to mention the fact that you guys don't even like each other and you expect him to wait? I like you and would skip you 1 minute after your time expired.

You are like talking to some doll with a string, no matter how many times it gets pulled you only say the same 2 or 3 things. And shake your fist.

Everybody get a quote for car and homeowner's/renters ins, and maybe ask about the umbrella policy. I'm trying to get paid.
