And I taught Ted Williams how to hit lol Are you saying it's impossible that he played Little League with a prospect no one's heard of and some get confused with the NFL quarterback? I played Little League against Nick Swisher, and I was on more than one LL team with Plaxico Burress (you know, WR for the NY Giants). My father was the coach for one of those teams. I played high school ball with Chris Elmore, a Red Sox farmhand until injuries forced him to retire, I was coached by Mike Mungin, a former pitcher in the A's system, and I ran the first leg of the 4 x 400 m relay with Plax as the anchor. People know people. That's only the tip of the iceberg, as Hampton Roads is becoming a hotbed for professional athletes. (I've played ball with Iverson, I played against Michael Cuddyer.....yadayadayada)
