Our league's Pet-Peeve - Not posting when you add a player, drop a player, option a minor-leaguer, etc. We should have an official penalty on record. Fines, draft pick loss, and player loss have all been suggested. Ideas?

You are given 24 hours to post your acquired player on ProBoards or you lose him back to the free agent pool, thereby giving someone the opportunity to use a waiver claim on said player. Anything beyond that is a tad ridiculous, I think.

If you have time to search through players and add one to your roster on the ESPN site, then you have time to come to Proboards and type the guy's name as a FA pickup. I'd even be okay with leaving some leeway for adding salary info as long as the pickup itself is reported.

Anything beyond that is a tad ridiculous, I think. I support this. It's the thing that pisses people off the most, right? So it should be accompanied by a harsh penalty. If you're picking up a player, you're either on the computer and should then immediately post it, or you're on your phone. If you don't have the Proboards app, text someone to post it for you.

The problem with someone losing a player after they've picked them up is that someone with commissioner access has to actually go in that ESPN roster and remove the player. As long as everyone is okay with that knowing it might not always happen right away, that's fine.
