Existing fine structure for not having all starting positions filled and/or exceeding the salary cap: "-You have 24 hours to either get under the cap or fill every starting position, whichever applies. -After 24 hours you will begin to incur the following penalties: First day: $125,000 this year, $250,000 next year Second Day: $250,000 this year, $500,000 next year Third Day: $500,000 this year, $1,000,000 next year -If an owner is still non-compliant after four days, he will lose a draft pick. What pick you lose depends on how long you remain non-compliant. We'll start with your 18th round pick, and will become a higher pick for each day you remain non-complaint." Option #1: Leave as is. Option #2: After 24 hours you will be fined $2mil toward your salary cap. After another 24 hours you will be fined another $2mil and you will not be allowed to make any roster moves until the issue is fixed. In both cases, failure to correct the situation after a few days may incur harsher penalties.
