Whenever you search for a player/prospect to see if he's owned, you have to do 2 searches.
- 1 using only the What to search...
- 1 using only the Where to search...
where the thread title contains
Almost all of the posts about player transactions in this league have the player name in the thread title only, and that's probably why so many of our player searches are coming up empty, and already-owned players are getting picked up. If you do both searches separately you should cover threads and thread titles, so everything.
If you get a message that says "Cannot connect to the search server" or something like that, the official proboards response is "we are aware of these and we're working to correct the problem" or something like that. They say that they correct problems as they come up, so if you wait a few minutes and try again it may work.
