I've been super busy lately, and I apologize for not addressing this earlier. I've only had one day off work in the last 18. Since this is a mid-season issue, not a rule I foresaw and made concrete before the league began, I'm going to put it to a vote. For the time being, we're not going to pick up any of these players. If the league votes by majority to make these players available now, we will then vote as a group on a fair and organized process for obtaining them. Most of us don't have any remaining pickups anyway, and would have to drop players on our roster to obtain these guys.
