There have been a few instances now where players have been demoted that are not eligible for minor league rosters according to league rules. We're not quite halfway through the season yet, and everyone is adjusting to the rules and the time this league takes, so I've let a couple of these slide, as well as other various minor infractions. I think we've all had enough time, however, to learn all the rules, or at least understand what rules may have to be consulted when considering a roster move. From today forward, check the eligibility of a player before you attempt to demote him, because if you drop him, you won't get him back. It's up to you all to know where each of your players stands. I work 6, sometimes 7 days a week, so I'm not always able to verify your move until a few hours, and sometimes an entire day, after you've done it.
