DeSclafani coming up and Chavez going into the rotation gives me more starters than I want, and I'm already well over my starts projection. I'm interested in a 2 for 1 for another SP, or for offense at any position, SB would be a bonus.
Anthony DeSclafani- 25 years old ROY candidate, ERA and WHIP under 1, making $500k
Kyle Hendricks- 25 years old, ERA is 5.74, but 13/1 K/BB and 1.09 WHIP look more like last year's 2.46 ERA, 1.08 WHIP rookie season, he also makes $500k
Tyler Matzek- 24 years old, had 91 K's in 117 IP with a 4.05 ERA as a rookie, has a 2.40 ERA so far this year, also makes $500k
Jesse Chavez- Not young at 31, but only makes $775k and just took Kendall Graveman's rotation spot. After a 3.45 ERA and 136 K's in 146 IP last year, he's got 13 K's in 12.2 IP and an ERA and WHIP under 1
I'm not as interested in dealing Bumgarner/Greinke/Gio/Shields but will consider any trade.
