With a third of the season already come and gone it's time to address those needs. I'm looking to move the following players for some combination of keeper upgrade, 2017 MLB or MiLB pick(s)
Asdrubal Cabrera - On the season, the veteran SS is he's hitting .273 near the top of the Met's order with 5 home runs, 18 runs scored and 19 RBI. I can cover the salary and it won't be too expensive to grab this guy.
Eduardo Nunez - Dubbed a utility man by manager Paul Molitor, the SS/3B is mashing all over the place. In 178 at bats he's blasted 6 home runs, scored 25 runs, brought home 21 RBI and swiped 11 bases. Oh, and he's also hitting .331 with a .360 OBP. He has the potential to end up with 20 home runs and 30 stolen bases while hitting above .300. He's currently on my to keep list, but I'm willing to send him off for the right offer.
Rajai Davis - Looking for SB? Well this guy seems to be always trying to steal 2B or 3B. with 12 already in 168 at bats, this veteran isn't showing any signs of slowing down on the base paths. He's hitting an admirable .262 with a .333 OBP. He'll be cheap as well.
Martin Prado - Want a guy who many not hit double digit home runs, but will hit above .300 with a decent OBP and score runs? Here's a cheap guy.
Justin Smoak - Is your team lacking a power bat? Well why not order a Smoak Bomb? The former top-prospect seems to have finally figured out his swing and crushing balls every week. Hitting a robust .275 with nearly a 100 point higher OBP (.372) this dude is just getting started. And in that dangerous Blue Jays lineup he can do a lot of damage.
Nathan Karns - Aside from this weekend's start, the young pitcher has handled himself well inside and out of Safeco Field striking out more than a batter an inning. He's working on his control which should bring the WHIP down. With the Mariners playing well he could easily reach 10 more wins and another 120 or so strikeouts the rest of the season.
Steven Wright - Who would have thought with David Price, Eduardo Rodriguez and Clay Bucholz that this guy would end up being the staff ace? The knuckleballer has 64 strikeouts in 74.2 innings with a 2.29 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP.
Luke Hochevar - Need a setup guy who also strikes out more than a batter an inning? Dude is mowing down hitters and could easily vulture some wins and potentially saves while also racking up another 20 plus holds for you.
