On the web site it says that we are allowed to have a MiLB roster of 20 players. Before the season started we ended up with a roster of 16 players in the minors. With the rules in place that is the most we are allowed. I know at this point in the season this could cause trouble but what do we do with the extra spots? Should we stay with the current regulations or should we be able to maintain a roster of 20 players? That would better enable restocking after trades. I am just asking out of drunken curiosity by the way. I don't even have any MiLB pickups in mind.

You can pick up whatever minor leaguers you want, you just have to drop one first, but that keeps you at whatever number of MiLB players you have. The only way to get up to 20 MiLB players is to trade for them.

We did in fact start with 16. Keep 5, Draft 5 and pick up to 6 in the secondary MiLB draft we had. 5+5+6= 16

In my defense, the way he worded it suggested we al started with 16 players, whioch we didn't. Many managers didn't even add any MiLB free agents.
