are there any rules against calling up MiLB players just before the end of the season and adding them to your keeper list...then sending them back down to start the next season?
I know there is a limited call-up rule...but outside of that, it's allowed, right?

It sounds like a waste of a transaction/player spot, if you ask me...

not if your keepers blow compared to your minor league talent. with young minor leaguers like jarrod parker, lars anderson, moustakas, revere, heyward, noonan, aumont...I can't afford to drop one of them for a borderline keeper like jered weaver, jarrod saltalamacchia, ian kennedy. not when you are building.

Oh, I think I misunderstood what you meant at first. My fault.
Yeah, with that group, I can definitely understand. I don't think there's anything against it in the rules, so fuck it, man. Do what you have to do.

another keeper question... is anybody interested in upping the keeper amount to 12-15 range next season? I can't remember if we already talked about it, but I know I'd like to see it as some of our minor league talent comes up.

I see where you're going, and I like it, but it would make the draft less relevant, and that's one one of my favorite parts of this league.

But it rewards the owner's ability to build from within.

I definitely like the idea though, it would give us more flexibility on tweener guys we wanted to give one more year, like Armando Galarraga, Steve Pearce, Billy Butler, and Paul Maholm for me. Those guys would never make my 10, but I don't really want to send them packing in a dynasty league either.

Needless to say the list of guys I'm trying to move or decide between was the original motive for the thought.
