For our purposes, keepers lock at 8:00 p.m. December 31, 2008. Everyone knows this already. ESPN, however, won't lock the rosters until February 18, so there will be a thread for everyone to post their 10 MLB and 8 MiLB keepers. Remember that we're using the 2008 salary information from the same site we used last year:

FA pickups will be frozen at 8:00 December 31 until the conclusion of the drafts. That includes MiLB players.
Everyone knows the keeper lock date; it was set a year ago, so we'll say 24 hours to post your keepers in the thread here. If anyone thinks that's unreasonable let me know. That should give everyone plenty of time to shake off the New Year's hangover. You can post early if you want to, but once you've posted your keepers they will be locked in. Feel free to drop the rest of the players from your roster, or I'll just do it myself anyway so we can have a good idea of the pool we're drafting from.
We can postpone the draft for the new owners if we need to, but I don't see any reason to change the keeper date. Let me know if there are any disagreements.
