This one I'll regret:
Bobby Ayala takes Aaron Hill, 2B, Tor, $410,000

Matt, I like the Hill pick. Just the Koufax, Ma'am selects:
Melvin Mora, 3B, Orioles, $7,826, 914 ...... Now, that's a ridiculous salary!

Pick #79 round #5
Paul Konerko 1B CWS $12 million
BTW Frank Reich orchestrated the Bills comeback against the Oilers in that playoff game. We sat in the cold in the Bills endzone with little to no football action. My friends, who drove, said let's get a drink at halftime...and decided as we were walking, to leave the stadium and go across the street to a 7-11. When they came out of the store, it was the 3rd quarter and Houston had just scored yet another touchdown (30 pt. difference). We turned off the car radio and solemnly drove home.

John Smoltz SP Red Sox $14 Mil
Wow, you must be kicking your own ass to this day for missing that. Can't say I remember all the specifics of the game, but I was rooting for the Bills & didn't stop watching at any point. I was pissed off as hell that they were getting killed, but stayed glued to the set through it all. Same as the Colts comeback against the Bucs in '03 (Dungy beating Gruden was awesome) & the Bears comeback against the Cards a few years back (They were who we thought they were). Nothing like watching a huge comeback when you're rooting for the team to begin with. Since the Bills comeback, I never turn it off until it's absolutely over. Sorry you missed that one.
