I say eight.......lets not go too crazy......We need to put a cap, or the small-time owners will never ever get to compete. I know penalize the guys that are paying attention, but lets not get too greedy.

I think we should keep it no lower than 10. A lot of trades have been made with a large number of keepers in mind. It will make having a really good milb system much less important. Only a handful of minor leaguers will be worth keeping at the end of the year meaning we have no development period for our milb guys.
