This pertains to MLB players. Should we maintain a waiver period or allow dropped players to instantly become free-agents?

where was that posted? I just heard they were due by Dec. 31st.. meaning... 2010. I'm cool with it, just want to know for future reference.

This isn't settled yet. I'd like to have a majority by the close of the meetings.

sorry, i didn't even realize he had been dropped. I just went on the player list on espn and was able to pick him up. jackson's drop post was after i already added him...
not sure what you want me to do here.

Nothing to do with you bro, I dont think you did anything wrong. After I saw you picked up Durbin i went looking to see if there was a waiver and i saw this thread. Looks like we never fully addressed the situation. I honestly never suspected anyone of interest would be dropped for a waiver to matter.
I dont have a problem with you picking up Durbin, I just wasnt sure if this was something that still needed to be addressed.

I was under the impression we still had waivers, but it looks like they've been disabled on ESPN. We should probably reinstate the waivers there, and figure out what to do about Durbin second. Did anyone else want him?

Im intrigued, but i dont wanna try to steal him, and if we did to waivers its reverse draft order, and he would be before me.

Would 2B Sean Rodriguez be considered a waiver option too? Has there been a ruling on waivers yet?
