On October 31, 2010 all teams will be required to post their full rosters, not their keepers, to declare if any inconsistencies occur.
Each team will be allowed to keep 8 MiLB eligible players at the end of the 2010 season.
Only 12 people voted on how many MLB keepers we're going to retain following the 2010 season. There is no final decision on this topic yet. Please vote if you haven't already or we'll make a new poll for everyone to re-vote if that's more convenient.
The MLB waiver period will stay at 2 days.
The first picks of the 2011 MLB and MiLB drafts will start with whoever finished 9th in the standings, then 10th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 15th, 14th, 13th, 8th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, then the league champion.
Adding MiLB players during the season still needs to be finalized and the we need to answer the following questions:
1) Can owners pick up a replacement MiLB player if they trade an eligible player away? (I said eligible because if the player wasn't the owner would have to drop him or add him to his MLB roster.)
2) Should a date lock for adding MiLB players be in place after the season?
And finally:
If any team is declared "dead" (Defined as not having any contact with any owner, text message, phone call, login and post on the message board or ESPN board, unless your in prison in Nicaragua,) you're team will be... This is what we need to decide on. Do we contract the team, lock the team or try and find a replacement owner.
