Is there some type of rule that states you must have a certain number of MiLB players at all times? No. You can have a max of 20 on your roster during the season.

So if we're not allowed to pick up any free agents or do anything until after the MiLB Draft, why the fuck are we waiting to draft?

Lets start this motherfucker yesterday If there are no objections, I guess I could post the first pick now. It's not like it's a big fucking secret who I'm taking.

I put that Josh is on the clock until 4 pm on Thursday, but I don't know if that's the case. Is it 8 hours per pick for MiLB? I forget the breakdown.

Anybody have any feedback on Matzek...there were many options with pick #4, only time will tell if options 2,3,4,5, & 6 pan out better, or if I chose correctly-Doh!

Matzek was someone I had hoped would drop to #14 with the amount of time it will take for him to get to the bigs. Oh well!

I was very curious when Corey Wimberly would go.

Typed in 5 different names before I took Trout. Hope that wasn't a completely terrible pick.

Nah. I am still getting over seeing Donovan Tate drop to #9! I thought I had a shot at him for a second there.

Baseball cube gave him a 99 for batting eye and a 90 for speed. I was hoping he'd make it through the round. I think it's a great pick.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked Tate fell so far. There's still a lot of serious talent available, though, and I look forward to adding some of it to my roster.

Tate also has a sports hernia and broke his face in an ATV accident. Shouldn't affect his performance though. Petco was my biggest issue with picking him

Actually, I am the shit fuck who picked him. I had Jackson merely post it for me since I was at a job fair hiring a bunch of ex-convicts, druggies, drunkies, and idiots all day today.

I was kind of waiting on Ninja to see which of Turner or Wheeler he would pick, with the assumption that I'd take the other. I really love both guys but I am very happy I got Wheeler in Round 2.

Sorry--I did not realize my comment would go on the pick board! When it comes to trades, I thought everyone was on their own with no moderation from the commish or league. I am assuming that this lot of managers are fairly astute or they would not have joined this league?

I kind of wanted Wheeler, but I'll take Hobgood as a consolation prize.

Starting in the 3rd round can we go to 4 hours per pick, or at least 6?
This was about the time last year when several owners stopped caring about the picks, people were getting skipped, and it really dragged on.

I don't care one way or the other, but it would be nice to finish this thing up. I'm getting busier at school, so what the hell. I vote to change it to four hours per pick.
By the way, I'm in class tonight from 7:00-9:30 PM CT. If my next pick (3.12) comes up during that time (which I doubt), I'll post it when I get home from class.

I will do my best to make my picks as fast as possible. I get more and more excited to steal superb talents away. The one-a-day period following the draft is also a great stretch.

My want-list for the this round was Heathcott or Brett Jackson, and if they're gone, go with super-sleepers Randal Grichuk or Will Myers. Did not have a 3rd emergency option. It seems those players were not sleepers at all. I really wanted Will Myers, good pick Gary.
So I'll be the guy to take Tabata. Someone had to I guess. Doesn't seem to hit for power, doesnt seem to have a ton a speed, can barely hit for average, and he's little, and he wasn't among the 150+ most valuable players in this league. I'm not sure why he's ranked so high on prospect lists, that's really the only reason I'm taking him.

I just want to narrow it down from a few names...
