A few people have asked me, and I'm sure there's at least a couple people who don't know or fully understand how this is going to work. Mack please clarify if this is not how we're still doing it.
At 8 a.m. EST on the morning following the completion of the MiLB draft, you can add a MiLB free agent, and it's a free for all, there's no draft or waiver order, just post your guy. Make sure it's 8 a.m. ON THE SANDLOT CLOCK located at the top of the screen. Whoever posts a player's name first gets him, although I'm not sure 2 guys have ever posted the same player. The reality is that these players are guys that none of us thought were among the best 200 prospects. The same rules apply in terms of draft eligibility, the players had to have signed an MLB contract before the start of the MiLB draft to be added as free agents.
You may add 1 MiLB free agent per day for 6 days. After you've added 6, that's it. You can't keep adding until you're at 20. You have to drop one if you want to pick up another, or you can pick up a MiLB FA if one of your guys gets promoted to your MLB roster due to loss of MiLB eligibility (130 career AB's or 50 career IP).
You can never have more than 20 MiLB players at a time.

Something that may be worth repeating: If a player was not eligible for this draft, he is not eligible to be picked up at any point this season.
The rare exception is if he jumps to the majors and exceeds 130AB or 50IP.
So when Adeiny Hechevarria signs with the Mets or whoever in a couple weeks, he cannot be picked up this season unless he is promoted to the majors and exceeds 130 AB. The next time he'd be available for pick up is in next season's minor league draft.
