I have no desire to extend the draft, but the playing field needs to be leveled a bit so everyone gets a shot at MiLB free-agents.
1. You may begin signing MiLB free-agents at 8:00 a.m. the day following the last pick of the MiLB draft. The draft may very well end tonight.
2. You may only select 6 MiLB free-agents. Exceptions:
a. You may drop a MiLB player to pick up another after you've
selected your first 6
b. You may select a minor league FA to replace a MILB player
that you've promoted, but only if said player is promoted
due to loss of eligibility.
3. You may only sign one minor league FA per 24 hour period for the first 10 days following the conclusion of the MiLB Draft.
There will be no restrictions on which Minor League players you can keep following the season, except that they must be MiLB-eligible, of course.
