The rules say:
"There are no maximum or minimum position requirements, but you must have all starting positions filled each day or be penalized $25,000."
Since this is a rotisserie league with a max of 180 GS, could we eliminate this fine for SP? It would suck to have to choose between being fined and going over the limit. It's a small thing, but, whatever.

That rule is to avoid someone playing the pussy card late in the season when, say, the owner is looking at low numbers in W and K, so he decides to stop using his SP and leave the three slots open for the sake of trying to lock up ERA/WHIP with an all-relief group. It's cheap, it's shitty... And now it's against the rules.
There shouldn't be any problem with someone approaching 180 GS, personally. I've played with 120 so many times and I've been perfectly fine with it. I may not even reach 120 in spite of the 180 limit here. You never know.

You can't go over the limit. ESPN stops counting stats when you reach 180 GS.

I understand that you can't go over the limit, but if you ran all your starters everyday, you might hit 180 before the season ends. I wouldn't want to get fined by trying to pace myself.

what about having unlimited games start? 16 teams how many starters do you think will be worth owning?
