If you release a player to make room on your roster, post the following info for the released player:
Player name, team, position Player Salary
Don't forget, you are responsible for the player's salary until his waiver period ends. If he's picked up, you are no longer responsible for any of the player's salary. If he is NOT picked up, HALF of that players current salary will remain on your books until he does get picked up.

I think it's until they are picked up... Isn't that how it works in real MLB? I think it's also a way to prevent GM's from add/dropping pitchers like VD's (and this time I mean crabs, the clap, gonneria ect.)
