It was brought to my attention that I was breaking a rule by leaving both my DL'd third basemen on my bench rather than keeping one as a starter. I owe $275k for this for anyone keeping track.

LOL, great rule! So, you leave the position vacant and don't accumulate stats...or, you put in the DL'ed 3B and don't accumulate any stats. Shame on you for not accumulating stats!

This came up a couple seasons ago I think, and we may have proposed changing it at the time. I think original purpose was to penalize for tanking, because we weren't really sure about our group, most of us didn't know each other at all. Obviously Bunge isn't tanking, but felt he'd rather leave the spot empty than drop someone important to add someone crappy. We should look at during winter meetings.
