We currently do not have language in the rules regarding how options work when a MiLB player is dropped.
Please vote for 1 trade option AND 1 drop option.
Trade Option 1: When a minor league player is traded, his # of remaining options carries over to the new team.
Trade Option 2: When a minor league player is traded, his # of remaining options resets to 3.
Drop Option 1: When a minor league player is dropped, his # of remaining options stays with him, even if he's picked up by another team. Managers will be required to post the number of remaining options on any minor league player they drop or do not keep at the time they leave the roster.
Drop Option 2: When a minor league player is dropped, his # of remaining options resets to 3.
