I'd get skipped too much. I can't draft at work, and I have..............other things to do too. We should all give out cell numbers so we can get some text alerts going then...I'm very impatient. The only problem I have with that is I usually don't make a decision on who to draft until it's my pick and I've started typing my choice..............I know, I'm a pain in the ass.

Does that mean you need a scuba outfit to travel south on the ladies?
Something smells fishy...

Is my math fucked up or should the Puckettiers only be on the clock until 9:11 not 10:11?

All you veterans owners have nothing on patience when it comes to drafting. Try having 2 picks in the first four rounds, not to mention the 5th and 12th picks on top of it for a last place team...talk about red flags on jettisoning from the league. You did not honestly think the owner was going to stick around after trading Tim Lincecum (his first round draft pick), and his 2nd and 4th round picks and who knows what else. That's some serious bystander theory going on right there.
When I win this league...you can keep your stinking trophy...I'd like my own South of the Border Action hero suit-the fishy variety, a bottle a Makers Mark and a the naming rights of all your next children. Keyser Souse...I'm using you as my first stepping stone to the top. 3 first round MiLB picks... grumble, grumble...I might as well get in line and play the state lottery...I'd have better odds...cuz hey... you never know! Draft well...you will need it.

I thought Pervin would stick around and be the Royals of our league for several years. He traded Lincecum before he became the greatest athlete in the history of sports, and at the time, what I gave up was pretty significant.

It seems, though, that he played in the league all year so he could go make one of his own, and he wanted an idea of how it should be done.

Just because he stole the blueprint doesn't mean he's going to be sucessful at it. I say let him have his shitty league that will die just like that "other" league we were in Mack.

Thanks to Matt and Josh for the invite and thanks to all for having me in the league. This is going to be fun...starting from the bottom just adds another element of challenge. Of course, I'd rather not be known as the minor league team of the league. I appreciate all the work that has been put into this league...and it will be much harder to go back to Yahoo keeper leagues after seeing the Promised land of Fantasy Baseball.
I'll check back in on Monday...who am I kidding, I will be commandeering someone's iphone at dinner tonight.

I'm not worried about it. Nice to know that we have a new guy from Texas in the league. And I do have to agree there are some dumb mother fuckers here. We even got one elected President.

I don't know...I think inheriting Pervin's team would be the most fun of all the abandoned teams. Jay Bruce and an absolutely stacked MiLB...all are impact prospects. So many good bats, plus Tillman, Parker, and Aumonte.

Just wait for his weekly youtube breakdown of our league.

Austin Puckettiers isn't from Texas. Austin is just the name of his nephew. Sorry Killer B's, he's another Cubs fan.
It's taking him a while because he keeps getting trade offers that involve picks, & it takes a while to get used to factoring in everything this league has to offer compared to a normal FBB league. He's just getting acquainted with all the dynamics.

Denard Span is the fucking man! Nothing like paying the minimum for 100+ runs, .300 avg, .360-.380 OBP, & 30 to 40 steals. If he hits 15 bombs, it would just be a bonus. He's exactly what the Twins needed at the top of the order & couldn't get from Gomez.

If you think he can keep that up for 162 games...

Very true, you don't know if he can or not. He did it for 133 last year between the majors & AAA (OBP in AAA was .424, but with a ridiculous BABIP). He's a quick guy, so his BABIP should remain somewhat high. It's his high BB rate that is usually sustainable by players. Players don't usually just forget what a strike or ball is. That's something they develop & usually can keep with them, and it's not like people were walking him because they were afraid of his power. He could be Carl Crawford Lt this year without too much of a stretch.
