Yeah we had a 10-day reconciliation period, which I think we should have again then start the MiLB draft. I thought it was after the Milb draft so that if you wanted to have an Milb guy on your roster you could.

So are all players on waivers now or can I fill my last roster spot?

So are all players on waivers now or can I fill my last roster spot? Let's wait for Mack to set some ground rules on our post-draft schedule.

That is what i figured we would do. I added my MiLB guys but I still have one empty roster spot. I already know who I want to add, but I will wait.

When Killer B's says "picked up MiLB guys", he means promoting some of the guys he kept from the 2008 season to his Major League roster. He did not pick up new Minor League talents.
If you're missing a player, it's likely because of the rules in this league about trading MiLB guys to other owners (meaning you lose that player and cannot pick up another guy to replace him on your roster).

For now, we have downtime until the MiLB draft begins. I suspect that will take place in the beginning of March as Mack has work obligations, i.e. testing and certification processes.
After we finish the five rounds, we have 10 days to work with our roster and add/drop players and salaries respectively without incurring any penalty. And by "penalty", I mean we can drop players from our roster without having to assume 1/2 of their salaries. Should any owner choose to do that during the regular season, of course, the 1/2 salary provision would be in effect.
So, now, we wait. The MLB draft is exhausting mentally, so I think downtime is great.

so i cant adjust my MLB or MiLB till after the MiLB You can always drop a player from your MLB roster, at any time. You can also promote an MiLB player to your MLB roster now if you want. The only thing you can't do is add an MLB or MiLB player from the player pool.

It looks better for sure. But do we really need to get this debate started again? We have dedicated more time to Fonty than any other pick in the draft.

Cubs fans knew he was starting. Aaron Miles is a piece of shit and always will be. Ragin' Cajuns deserve to play no matter what.
Geaux Cubs.

guys i honestly believe that the one kid that stands out to me, but was considered some what underrated the last two years is playball Academy's Montaous Walton, he is doing extremely well down in florida. last i checked he just received most outstanding player honors at the academy while leading the academy in stolen bases hitting a consistent .330 batting average. he can definitely be up there between the 7th and 15th rounds come draft day.

He should be better than Mike Fontenot.
