Thanks, Lee. Seemed like a no-brainer due to position scarcity and payroll issues. Plus, I already have D. Lee (pun intended) at 1B.

Wow, Peavy, Webb and Haren... Was thinking of taking Peavy, but chose the best 2 hitters...tough call, really wanted Phillips, but Grandpa took him

I had Peavy on my radar. Had a bad feeling he wouldn't last.

Don't know. I lose about 100 points in BA but save about $13M in cap space.

Thanks. I actually like the long-term potential of Max Scherzer, as well.

Son of a bitch. I thought Markakis would surely make it to me at 10.

I liked the potential coupled with the price. My payroll is pretty bloated right now. Thought about Bedard but after this year who knows how big his contract could end up being.

And blame Nuke, I wanted Peavy.

Nice pick with Rios. I thought about taking him but I think his salary will explode next year if he keeps putting up big numbers

Putz is even more surprising a pick. Now I have a real decision to make.

I actually thought about Gordon, the Twins need a 3B bad. I was going to take Peavy or Markakis, but they both went. I figure Rios' salary will explode, but Dunn and Ichiro already have salaries that have exploded, so the decision was really made for me.

The only viable 3B in the near future on my squad is LaRoche. But essentially, that takes care of 3B and CI right away. And I knew there were guys in the MiLB draft I'd want in my infield who, thanks to my pick in the order, would not fall to me. There was a nice internal struggle with my pick, loaded with fireballs and superkicks. You should have seen it.

Yeah i have the same problem. The Astros farm system sucks so i have to draft for my needs. I can't count on my MiLB keepers really helping me out. Two of the five are going to be pulled up right away and Paulino is the only one of the 3 left that might make an impact

Im pretty happy with my keepers. Jarr Jurrjens should make an immediate impact, and Josh Anderson figures to split time with kotsay.

I like Anderson, when the Astros called him up last year he hit .358 over 67 AB. It is a small sample but I thought he looked good. He obviously wasn't overwhelmed

Two of my minor leaguers are actually going to start Opening Day--Soto and Fukudome. The others are pitchers and, since 6 of my 10 MLB keepers are pitchers, I can wait on them. A few more holes to fill, however.
So, raise your hand if you still think we're going to get in 2 rounds today.............Didn't think so. It is something like 25 days until pitchers and catchers report.
