Josh just texted me and wanted me to post that he has to work late tonight and won't be able to make his picks anytime soon, and that he's sorry for taking so long with his picks. A teenager was killed by a train tonight in Josh's town and he has to cover the story.
It's partially my fault. He was all set to pick Beltran, and had no backup ready when I picked him first. Apparently I am a "plot-spoiling douche."

Beltran is a douche. I was going to pick him last time around but I just couldn't do it because of the cost and questionable future performance (or get out of bed because of post surgery pain.) If he does come through, Colin is going to kick ass.

I didn't put any of this into the story but bits and pieces of the kid were scattered in the snow, its white, turned a crimson that looked like rubies. |

My PC is down. I think its the PSU, but I haven't had time to check it because I've been remodeling my living room and school starts tomorrow. I can get to another PC, but the one that went down had all my rankings on it. I hope I didn't take Balfour too early, but I'm a little out of touch right now.

I wouldn't say that you took him too early, but as far as baseball names are concerned, Outman is a much better pitcher's name that Balfour (even if he's nowhere near as useful)...lol

I had two picks in this round. The first one took 11 minutes after the previous pick, and the second took 21 minutes after the 8 AM bell. Now I have a while to wait...

It's not just this round. We got to round 6 in a little under a week last year. This year it's taken nine days.
On the bright side, the longer we take, the better chance Yoenis Cespedes will be eligible for our MiLB draft.

Since we're talking about prospects, just a heads up: I live about 30 miles from where Bubba Starling went to high school, and I can tell you guys that the Royals made a HUGE mistake drafting him so high. He sucks. I probably wouldn't even use one of my FA pickups on him.

Since we're talking about prospects, just a heads up: I live about 30 miles from where Bubba Starling went to high school, and I can tell you guys that the Royals made a HUGE mistake drafting him so high. He sucks. I probably wouldn't even use one of my FA pickups on him. I can say with 100% certainty that will not have to consider that dilemma.
