I nominate the above post from our fearless leader, David Mack, for 2010 Post of the Year. We're not even into the month of February and I'm already laughing pretty hard and some of the things we've said leading up to and during the draft.
Awesome.

what Jackson wrote was meant to hurt. Holy shit GB. Not even close to true. Not at all. I wanted to take a shot at your age, and bring up the hilarity that is the jitterbug senior citizen cell phone. And I could give shit about the lenth of the draft. I'm breaking balls. Lightnen up. Bengie Molina resigned, everything is right in the world.

I know he's just signed where un-enhanced bats go to die, but Mark DeRosa in the 19th round is a damn solid pick.

Hey guys...I'll be in class from 7-9:30 CT tonight, so if my pick comes up during that time, just know that I won't be able to make my pick until after that.

Kidney stones...probably the closest any of us will get to childbirth...unless you live in Bend, Oregon!? Good luck with that Mack!
Is it baseball season yet? How many years does it take to pull a phoenix with a pretty dysfunctional and defunct fantasy dynasty team? Will my baby boomers on the farm every make it to the bigs? And when will one of my fantasy roster players ever...make it into the top 50?
Follow the baseball junkies in 2010 for the answers to these questions and more ...baseball junkie fever...catch it! Yeah, going stir crazy in the library...

Chris Ianetta may have just been the steal of the draft You think he'll bounce back? I had him in a bunch of leagues last year and he just kept killing me. He's still young I guess and he gets on base.

Catcher spot isn't as thin as years before. Good luck with Iannatta.
Morales & Wells dam.

I don't think Iannetta is going to hit .228 again. .250 and 15 HR would be okay with me, so long as freddy Sanchez hits .300. Wells was a shot in the dark, but at $1.5M, if hits .275 with 20 HR, 10 SB and 85 or so RBI, I win that one. I'm hoping Morales stays in the Colorado bullpen. I drafted him to strike people out and get holds. I personally like Jonathan Sanchez. I think I made a couple of mistakes with my keepers (I should have kept De La Rosa and not Lidge), but my team is coming along okay, considering how little I have to spend. I've finished 6th and 7th in two years, and I don't think I'll do any worse than that this year. I can't possibly finish last in ERA and WHIP again........I hope. Wait until we see who I end up with at 3B, then you can talk shit..... ;-)

I think Colin, after our conversation yesterday via text, is going to shock the world with his next pick. Very, very smart at this point in the draft.

Sanchez is because he plays 2B/SS......I think I need to sit back an only log-on when my pick is up.........its better for my sobriety....freaking nut-jobs.

He's still young I guess and he gets on base. I think he is good for a .260/.360/.450 line, with 20-25 HRs and decent Rs and RBIs if the Rockies just let him play. To get a catcher that can be an asset in terms of power and OBP, and who will just be turning 27 at the start of the season, in the 20th round of a 16 team league seems like a steal to me.

Nah let's not get crazy here. This is real value we're talking about here. Exactly. Except now that Beard has already guessed Preston Wilson, I gotta think of someone else. Maybe Jim Edmonds. Or Rickey Henderson.

Mike Hampton is my 18th round sleeper. What better way to spend $50 mil?
