We are drafting already? Not a problem, I just wasn't expecting it. My life sort of just became a big mess. I was one of the lucky people to get my first ever DUI on New Years. I spent 17 hours in jail. Awesome fucking way to get this year kicked off. At least it should only cost 3-4 thousand. Oh and I'm really excited I will get a breathilizer in my brand new car.

I fully admit is was a stupid decision to leave where I was and go to last call at a bar. I chose to drive when I was legally over the limit and I deserve the punishment I get. I really don't even go out that much normally or drink that much for that matter. I'm a smoker tried and true. (On that note, I am so fucking lucky I didn't have any pot on me) I just decided to come hang out with friends in Norman. Norman is the only place I get in trouble because my friends here are all lushes and I make bad decisions when I get trashed with them. What really sucks is I wasn't driving poorly, I got busted because I turned right at a red light where it wasn't allowed. I passed my field sobriety test but since it was 2 AM New Years Day around the bar district in Norman, he knew there was a good chance I wouldn't pass a breathilizer. He was right.

Buckner, Lee's new owner, Sleeve, & Junkies still need to drop their players. Then is someone going to make a list or are we just going to go off of ESPN FA's? Will we need a few days for people to make their own draft strategies before the draft starts?

It think the system would be that whoever makes their pick before you is the one who texts you, that way you don't have 5 people texting. I can understand not wanting to be bothered by it though.

Span still hasn't hit his potential yet. I'd say he's the best athlete the Twins have produced since Mauer and his ascension to brilliance. So we're still probably a year or two away from seeing what he can really do. Kind of puts Carlos Gomez to shame when you think about it.

Span was the clear #1. I wasn't expecting Manny to go even in the first round. But maybe that's just the angry Red Sox fan in me.

My suggestion was that each of us, after we make our pick, texts the guy who picks right after us in each round. If we did it that way, then you shouldn't be getting 5 texts. |
