I wasnt gonna keep 5 OF's and I rather have my 3 then those 2.Then why did you trade for Manny? It showed you were hot for Manuela, losing Dominguez, MiLB 2.9 & MLB 5.3. I would have given you Manuela for those 2 players you dropped (Franklin & Cuddyer). That means you could have had Manny for nothing....... I see your at it again. adding an Uggla for 5+million. Your total payroll is closing in on 84 million. I guess there is a method to your madness. Just remember Ryan......you're given one month! At least he didn't give him money! |

So now that I have 2 Boston starters, anyone know what they plan to do with their rotation? Beckett, Lackey, Lester, Dice-K, Buchholz, and the ever present Wakefield. Will they kick one guy out or go with a 6 man rotation since 3 of them (Lackey, Beckett, & Dice) seem to always have injury concerns?

Fangraphs is good for about anything. You can see bunches of rate stats and even compare different players.

I go to First Inning or FanGraphs to look at all that shit. Baseball Reference also compares players and ranks players per category according to each season. I wouldn't be surprised if BABIP, OPS+, ERA+, and other super-neato stats are ranked.

Thought it was a useful tool when a player is switching parks. |

It's hard enough calculating park factors from year to year, thanks largely in part to the statistical variables produced by hitters. I can't imagine the time it would take to calculate righty and lefty splits every season, knowing full well that it's probably nowhere near as accurate as one might hope.
I'd go search for it for you, but my server apparently doesn't want to load the page. That is commonplace for First Inning, which is why I started going to FanGraphs more often.
