Its the weirdest round in that you just never know what in the hell other people are thinking. Couldn't agree more. Sorry that pick took so long, but I can't figure out how to move in this chess game...

Snider will start at DH I'd assume. Davis, Wells, Bautista in the OF and Lind at 1B. He'll get 500 AB's and he was my favorite pick of the 1st round for overall value, I love the guy. As far as him not hitting for average (at age 22), I guess that's true except for the time he hit .300+ his entire minor league career. I think he could hit .275/25/85 with a chance for even better numbers. Snider hit .268 above A ball in his minor league career-- except 239 AB in AAA assisted by a .402 BABIP. Think he can sustain it? In 612 AB in the Majors he has a .320 BABIP, and he's hitting .255/.318. I feel like a .240/15/40 line is more likely. That being said, he is really young, and there aren't many players available with his big-time potential. He was only 22, battled injury and still hit .255 with 14 homers. Now he's going to regress to .240 and 15 homers? I don't see it.

Four closers gone so far in the second. That's more than we saw go in the first. Still, nothing like that EPIC closer run in the first round last year. That was crazy.

Anyone else's draft rocking like mine? I had Escobar as the #1 overall guy and Putz and Nathan as my #1 & 3 closers. If I get my targets in round 3 & 4 I'm making a run for the championship.

It will be as long as I can get Carlos Silva and Fukudome with their 12.75M and 14M contract in the next 2 rounds.

Nathan and Capps: Even if Nathan makes it back... Capps will be in a closer role for them or someone else. at 3.5M and a mid-season trade to a contender I could end up stud or douche.

Yes, mine is rocking harder than yours. I got all 3 of my top (realistic) targets, knowing Beltre wasn't going to be available.

I think I maybe have had the best draft of anyone. I haven't got everyone I wanted but close. I think I've gotten some awesome bargains cap-wise and none of the guys I've picked will be busts. So fucking take THAT.

Those other two guys are in for a heap of trouble though. All picks but mine are going to go to shit. Season over

Or do you just mean that you're going to fight to the finish? I just meant I'm going straight to DVD, so you got the jist. And Nellie's just brought it trading for Utley. Uh oh.

Jackson and his high school girls...will it ever end?
Hard to see Trout go. Don't know if I won that one, but Utley's elite and at $15 mil per for the next 4 years, he's not outrageously priced at least. Good Luck with Trout Mack.
